The minimum kitchen requirements are a 4 ring hob, an oven, a sink and a reasonable amount of counter space. We will usually ask for photos of your kitchen, or arrange a Skype call with you to assess the suitability.
For much larger groups we may need to hire extra equipment which may incur additional charges.
We ask for a 25% deposit to confirm a private murder mystery event, and the remainder to be paid no later than 14 days before the event.
Payments can be made by bank transfer.
Ticketed events must be paid in full at the time of booking to confirm your place, and tickets will be sent out via email.

You can change the number of guests any time up until the final payment is made. Any changes must be made in writing.
In the two weeks prior to the party, we will do our best to accommodate any changes, although if a guest playing a core role does not show up on the night, we cannot be held responsible for this and it may affect the overall running of the game. We will always let you know which characters are core and which are non-essential so you can allocate them accordingly.
We cannot make any changes to your menu choices within three days of the event due to time constraints with preparation and shopping for ingredients.
You need to have a room or space big enough for a dining table for all your guests.
If you don't have a table big enough or enough chairs we can supply these at no extra cost.
We travel anywhere within 60 miles of Edinburgh for no additional charge, however we may travel further for an additional mileage fee. Get in touch for a quote.
The game and meal itself usually lasts between 2-3 hours, varying slightly with the size of the group and how "into" it they get!
For private parties, we need access to the kitchen and dining room 1-2 hours before the start of the game to set up.
We do not provide glassware at private parties as we don't want to take away any unfinished drinks when we are leaving.
We prefer if you have a full set of matching glassware (small water glasses and wine glasses) as it looks nicer on the table, and if you need to hire glassware we can help with this.
(We provide all glassware at ticketed events! There is even a bar!)
At private parties we do not provide the alcohol. We are happy to pour wine at the table during the meal, but we do not mix cocktails or pour spirits.
We can serve coffee at the end of the meal for an additional charge.
At ticketed events, you will receive one free welcome drink but thereafter you must purchase drinks from the bar.
We can cater for vegetarians, vegans and people with allergies.

At ticketed events, it is a set menu. Please speak to us before booking if you have specific ditary requirements.
For private events, the minimum number of people is 8. There is no specific maximum as all of our games can be adapted to accommodate larger groups - just remember you must all fit around the table.
At ticketed events, we can accommodate 48 people on each night, split into two games of 24 people.
We recommend that our private parties are suitable for children aged 13 and above, however this is at your own discretion.
We have various themes available, some more "adult" than others. Please let us know if you are planning on having children at the event, as we can usually alter the script slightly, or give them a character with additional instructions to keep them engaged and help them follow the plot.
Our ticketed events are not suitable for children.
